Preventive Care

Preventive care services include periodic health screenings, checkups, and other medical procedures to prevent illnesses, disease, or other health problems. You should be able to get these services from your health care provider.

The population health nurses at each Primary Care Clinic are the main resource for health promotion and disease prevention activities. They manage patient populations and ensure appropriate preventive care services are addressed.
