No Shows/Cancellations
The Dental Clinic attempts to remind individuals 48 hours in advance of the appointment. When a patient fails to show up for an appointment, there is a cost to both the patient and the government. Each no-show appointment represents a lost opportunity to provide dental services for our population, and it hampers our ability to meet dental readiness standards and access to care standards.
A no-show occurs when a patient with an appointment is not physically present in the dental clinic on the day and time of their appointment, arrives more than 10 minutes after the appointed time, arrives with a child less than 12 years old who will remain unsupervised during the appointment, or does not with at least cancel the appointment at least four (4) clinic business hours in advance.
We ask that every effort is made to keep scheduled appointments in order that our resources are effectively utilized.
Failed appointments
We request 4 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment 717-245-4542.

Supervision of Children
Dental staff will not perform childcare under any circumstances. Please do not bring unsupervised children under the age of 12 to appointments.
Children may not be brought into the patient treatment area during dental appointments of their family members. For a child to be unsupervised and remain in our lobby while the parent receives dental care, both of the following qualifiers must be met:
- The child must be at least 12 years of age; and not be left unsupervised for more than two (2) hours.
- The child must be mature enough to be unsupervised during the parent’s treatment.
Thank you for understanding.
